Q: What is CBD?
Cannabidiol commonly called CBD is a phytocannabinoid. It is the second most prevalent active component of the cannabis plant. At Union of Elements, our CBD comes from the hemp plant and is a natural plant-based compound. CBD works in tandem with natural receptors in the human body that regulate appetite, moderate pain, maintain memory and stabilize mood.
Q: Is CBD legal?
All 50 states have legalized CBD to some degree. We recommend checking into the laws in your state.
Q: Can I get high by ingesting CBD?
Nope. According to the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”
Q: Is CBD anti-inflammatory?
CBD research currently shows that ingestion of CBD exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative and neuroprotective effects. Current research suggests that CBD may be useful in treating insomnia and anxiety.
Q: What’s the difference between full-spectrum CBD and THC-free CBD or isolates?
We're glad you asked, now buckle up! Union of Element’s products land in one of two classifications: Full Spectrum CBD Oil or THC-Free Oil, sometimes called isolate. Both are fantastic options, but what’s the difference?

The Daily Vibe (500mg THC-Free CBD Cinnamon Drops) are a THC-free oil. This tincture is derived from a pure CBD isolate rather than from a whole plant extraction process which means that all of the cannabinoids, including THC, are removed from the oil. THC-free oils are great for those brand new to the world of CBD and looking to get their toes wet.

Our other products including our Unicorn Ailment Rub, The Daily Vibe (1,000mg Mint Drops) and CBD gel capsules are tinctures derived from a solvent-free extraction process. This means that you don’t have to worry about any lingering or residual chemicals that can be found in other tinctures on the market. Full Spectrum CBD Oil is great in that it contains the entire range of active hemp cannabinoids, this also means that there are trace amounts of THC. You won’t get high from ingesting our CBD tinctures, but you will reap the maximum benefits of the hemp plant. It’s a win-win.
